Bruce W. Haigh, PE

Bruce Haigh is the Founder and serves as the President of Whittemore and Haigh Engineering, Inc. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Widener University, a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a M.S.B.A. from Boston University. Bruce holds a PE license in PA, NY, NJ, OH, DE and MD. He spent 24 years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a commissioned officer before retiring in 1990. He has enjoyed nearly twenty-four years performing private practice engineering and consulting services in the civil and environmental disciplines. Bruce has proven experience in civil/environmental engineering and design; project management; facility management and construction management of projects in the private, public and federal sectors.   He has performed civil engineering and design for USEPA Superfund sites and PADEP hazardous waste sites. He is a voting member of ASTM Committee E-50, ASTM Standard E1527 and AAI.  He is an Expert Witness of Environmental Assessments for the US Federal Court, Eastern District of PA.

Sandy L. Long, PE, CPESC

Sandy Long holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Penn State University. She holds a PE license in PA, NY, ME, WV, MD and DE. Sandy offers over fifteen years of experience and has successfully completed a multitude of projects in each of the major environmental arenas: Air Quality, Water Quality (storm water, waste water, drinking water) and Solid Waste (hazardous waste, residual waste). Her specialty is in Water Resources (hydrology, hydraulics, spill planning, permitting) and Air Quality (permitting, compliance). She has performed hydrology and hydraulics engineering and design for USEPA Superfund sites and PADEP hazardous waste sites. She is a PA Certified Visible Emissions Inspector.
